Jaakkoo-Taara celebrated 90 years at Turku Castle

This year, Jaakkoo-Taara turned 90, and the milestone was celebrated last month in the prestigious setting of the King’s Hall at Turku Castle. Nearly the entire staff gathered for the occasion, which was dedicated exclusively to the company’s employees.

Entertainment, surprises, and togetherness

During the evening, guests enjoyed a dinner befitting the castle’s elegant atmosphere, with a diverse menu that served roasted salmon and beef breast as the mains. For dessert, the castle’s own Brita cake was served.

In his speech, CEO Thomas Brusila thanked the staff for their long-term dedication and highlighted Jaakkoo-Taara’s long history, entrepreneurial spirit, and confident outlook for the future.

The program also featured surprises and entertainment. A mentalist amazed the audience with his sharp skills, while close-up magic performation at the tables drew widespread admiration. Later, the evening continued with live music and dancing.

In the aftermath of the celebration, staff praised the event as a success and expressed wishes for future gatherings together. The historic surroundings of Turku Castle and the great spirit made the evening unforgettable.
