CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY AND THE ENVIRONMENT COME FIRST

Sustainable business means taking the environment into consideration. In our work, we make efforts to reduce energy consumption, use recyclable materials efficiently, and utilise the latest, most efficient technologies. This is how we are able to offer our customers the most environmentally friendly packaging possible, both in terms of materials and production methods. In 2020, we set ourselves the goal of reducing the carbon footprint of our business by 60% by 2025. We will reach this ambitious goal ahead of schedule.

We work with the Keep the Archipelago Tidy Association, an organisation that promotes the principle of keeping Finland’s marine and inland waters, shores and archipelago tidy. The Association’s activities focus on environmental projects, environmental communication and environmental management work.

We are a member of the New Wood project, a community of over 20 Finnish organisations. The objective is to improve understanding of the wood-based bioeconomy and provide tangible examples of the products and solutions already on offer and how they impact society.
