Digital printer Arttu Häyrinen has enjoyed working at Jaakkoo-Taara for over 12 years: “That says it all”

Jaakkoo-Taara’s digital printer Arttu Häyrinen attended a speed networking event between employees and employers organized by his former employer. After one minute quick meeting Häyrinen received an invitation for a job interview, which quickly led to a position at Jaakkoo-Taara.

– I started as a folder gluer machine operator and transitioned to a digital printer about seven years ago, Häyrinen recalls.

As a digital printer, Häyrinen is responsible for ensuring that the customer’s order is completed on time with the correct colors and that the instructions are followed.

– When I arrive at work in the morning, I check which jobs need to be delivered that day and what materials and colors will be used. I set up the machines for printing and ensure that there are enough consumables and colors stocked so that work can continue smoothly throughout the day and orders are completed on time, Häyrinen explains.

Häyrinen considers Jaakkoo-Taara’s work atmosphere to be good. He is also pleased that the company strives to improve and streamline operations, for example, through the Lean project.

– We can work autonomously when needed, which is really beneficial for me. I don’t have to stress about how things will get done as I can influence them personally. Jaakkoo-Taara is a reliable and stable employer, and there is enough work to do, Häyrinen says.

One of the things Häyrinen values most at Jaakkoo-Taara is the opportunity for personal development and the support available in challenging situations.

– Jaakkoo-Taara supports professional growth alongside work. I have had almost complete freedom to organize my tasks, which is great. There is always support available for problem-solving, and issues get resolved, Häyrinen shares.

There seems to be no end in sight for Häyrinen’s career as a digital printer at Jaakkoo-Taara – and that’s a good thing.

– If you have enjoyed your job for 12 years, that says it all, Häyrinen concludes.
